The Addictions Counseling degree prepares students to work with an addictions population while earning an associate's degree. Advanced training meets Illinois Certification Board standards for the addictions counseling certification (CADC) with a passing exam score.

  • Identify three agencies where you would like to intern.
  • Explore BA transfer options.

Fourth Semester

  • Complete e-portfolio.
  • Finalize Fieldwork site.
  • Meet with faculty to request Fieldwork permit.

Fifth Semester

  • Revise e-portfolio.
  • Complete resume. 
  • Create LinkedIn profile.
  • Submit CADC application.

Sixth Semester

  • Apply for graduation.
  • Take CADC Exam.
